A Happy Fourth!
Hello friends! Oh my goodness, it's been such a great summer so far! I am so thankful for each season and all the surprises they bring...especially homemade ice cream! This fourth we returned from our mission trip in Ohio and were promptly greeted by family! My sisters Amy and Jill came into town as well as my Mom and Michael. As you can see, we weren't short on good food! I've been waiting all year to make these little red, white, and blue strawberries! We gobbled them up quickly before there were any fire works in the sky to celebrate with! The day was filled with catching up, a lemonade stand, lincoln, and even a very loose tooth! Here we gooo....
Before we celebrated we had to pile up in the Lincoln to go get some ice! Didn't Michael do an awesome job restoring this car??!
the boys LOVED the fireworks, they weren't even scared once!
He's too cute for his own good!
sweet brothers :)
turtle brownies of course, to celebrate Lea Ann's birthday
the homemade ice cream...mmmm!
the neighbors were even selling lemonade!
JACKSON lost his first tooth! I told him, "Jackson, it's getting really loose, you need to go in the bathroom and twist it!" And...he did!
We also made Auntie Anne's pretzels! you can get a kit at Kroger in the baking isle. I think we can all agree this holiday was a success... thankful for freedom!
