Fireman Hat Cake!

Image
Hello again friends! How about this fireman cake? Notice how I didn't say "firefighter" haha! There are no women in the Hendersonville fire department so I don't have anything to worry about! My good friend Megan's husband Brian is currently in training to become a part of the Hendersonville Fire Squad so for his birthday, Megan had this awesome idea to make him a fire hat cake. How cool! So, Megan headed over to my house with the baked cake and Tina joined us too! I'm so glad we could all get together and take on this challenge! We had such an awesome time working through the challenges, dying our hands different colors, trying the fondant, and just making a big mess and I think we had some success! I think it turned out pretty awesome and I heard that it tasted good too! We used the same fondant recipe that I used on the previous Captain America fondant cake I made for my nephew here.  Here's a picture of it because I'm pretty proud of it...

Adorable Owl Cookies!

Oh I am so excited to share this idea with you! I found this idea here on Pinterest and have been itching to make it! They really aren't that complicated! Just give them a try and it's totally worth it... look how cute they are! I have been a little unsure of making them before because I wanted to make sure the glaze actually tasted good.   I've tried the "fl

Two Months With Jude

Warning: there are a million pictures haha! We probably look crazy! I realize it may be annoying or overwhelming but honestly, sometimes I like to blog for my own record! If other people happen to enjoy it, then it's an added blessing! Every day is a gift. Thank you Lord Jesus for my sweet family including a wonderful and handsome husband who takes such great care of us! We love you little man. It has been such a fun two months being your mom and dad. Although we haven't had to do too much "parenting" we have still learned a lot about you and ourselves. I have learned that sometimes I can be selfish with my time. You've taught me to remember to always put others first! Every day I love being your mom more and more; I didn't know this was possible! I think our hearts have grown larger every day we spend with you. We sit on the couch staring at you and keep repeating, "I just love him so much, can you believe he is ours,  he's so amazing, he's so
