Miss Hallie Reese's One Week Photos

Blake and I had quite the adventure attempting to get a few pictures of you at home when you were exactly one week old. We plopped you down on top of daddy's guitar case and got out the blanket that Granna made for you and hoped to get a few good pictures. You're so beautiful, it was no trouble. You also look great in blue! Thanks for cooperating with us.  Blake and I also enjoyed taking Jude and Laurie Kate's first pictures back in the day! This time, the guitar case is CLOSED. Get it? We are done! Haha! Oh, Hallie! You are so loved. I pray that you know how much God loves you... we will spend our lives teaching you all we know. We will constantly fall short and mess up and act like crazy people but God will always love you with a perfect love. What a relief! What grace! Hallie's Birthday

Hallie Reese Herron. 5-1-17, 8:30AM, 19.5 in, 8lbs 5oz First, it's H A L L I E which rhymes with "Sally."  While we're at it, Laurie also rhymes with "sorry." NOT Lori like "story."  -Rant over-  Meeting my sweet babies for the first time always takes my breath away. I can't help but burst into tears the moment I hear their first cries. There are moments where I think we get a little taste of heaven, a miracle, and May 1, 2017 at 8:30AM was one of them. I am reminded of this verse... how BIG God's love must be for us!   We checked in to the same hospital that Laurie Kate was born at 5:30AM here in sunny Florida. Blake and I hardly slept the night before since we were so excited and anxiously anticipating little Hallie's surgery... and little Hallie was practically doing somersaults in my belly! Goodness!
