If you're looking for the recipe, scroll down to the bottom. What's more important than popcorn? People! So, before I show you pictures of this fun recipe I have to tell you about some special people behind the popcorn making process. Join me.  I chose to make this recipe as party favors for a very important baby shower! This is my sister Jill and her husband Kevin who are expecting a little boy in January. I am so excited, aaah! My parents will then have six grandchildren and three of them will have been born within 13 months. How amazing? God is so good! Jill and Kevin live in St. Louis so I will have to make a big trip up there to go see this baby! My heart breaks that we will be raising our children so many states away but I know God has a plan!  Jill will make the most wonderful mother. After all, you could say that she was one of my mothers. In case I haven't told you many times before, I am the youngest of five girls. "FIVE GIRLS, WOW" is surely t

Our Fall Adventure In Florida

I never thought I'd be so happy to see PUMPKINS! This weekend, the Olson boys, Mistie, Millie, Mark, the Gibbs, Blake, Jude, and I all went to the local Farmer's Market that called itself a pumpkin patch! It was one of those Saturdays that we felt like more of a family. The stroller was packed and our hopes were high that we were about to make some special family memories! Now, if you live in Tennessee and you see a sign that says "pumpkin patch" then you'd expect to see the pumpkins sprouting up from the ground. In Florida, it's a little different. Here's what their patch looked like, above and seen below.  However, I'm not upset! We had such a great time! Their was live music, a water fountain, palm trees, and it smelled like popcorn all around! The farmer's market was swarming with the sweetest little children in spooky costumes. Some were cute, most were spooky! They had all sorts of local vendors selling a variety of "fall"

We had another great week at Desire Church! We have been amazed at God's spirit moving in the hearts of our new friends. It's such a treat to meet new faces, connect throughout the week, encourage one another, and share Christ with our new community. This month, we're meeting at our house and it has been a joy! We worship in the front of the house, share about opportunities we've had to share God's love, and then the children play out in our sunroom until the sermon is over. Hearing big and little voices sing is just a little bit of heaven! We're so blessed to hear messages from Jerel and Dwayne! The kids had a great time learning about Moses this week and we'll learn more about him next week too! This week we had around 35 people including some special friends from Tennessee; Jeremy, Katie, Lincoln, and Lliam Bennett! We had such a special time with them as they visited for a few days! They have such amazing hearts for the Lord! Thank you for praying for
