There are just some things that I can not forget from childhood: spankings, slip-n-slides, lemonade stands, piano playing, and at the top of the list... CHOCOLATE BAR CAKE. It just sounds magical, and especially to a sweet-loving kid such as myself. I remember every time we made this cake because we always bought the chocolate from Red Food on Kingston Pike and that meant I would get free samples! There's nothing like Mom's Chocolate Bar Cake. I can't remember if this won Knoxville's Chocolate Fest but something from the bakery did! How can you go wrong with HERSHEY'S? This special lady went all the way to Hendersonville ( thanks to Amy's custom cake order). Enjoy, bake it, or I would be glad to make you one.
