Family In Florida & Sweet Elise

It's been a while since I've seen this precious baby girl! Elise was born back in June and I was so glad that I still lived in Tennessee so that I could go visit her in the hospital. Amy and Kevin are such wonderful parents and are so in love with their sweet baby girl! They even survived their first beach trip like pros, I tell you! Elise couldn't be more precious! Elise, Amy, Kevin, my sister Lea Ann, and my mom all came down to Florida to visit us last week! We had such a special visit together! It meant the world to me that they would come all the way down here (with the help of good ol' Allegiant Airlines) to visit! We went to the beach, went on multiple walks around the neighborhood, out to get some authentic Cuban food, lounged in our screened porch, ate some Chipotle, some mint chocolate cookies, made some fish, and made some sweet memories! I couldn't wait to give them big hugs! I sure do miss my family and friends in Tennessee. God is really stretching me! My house felt so full of love when they were here!

So, while they were visiting I HAD to take some pictures of sweet Elise!! We just walked outside to our backyard and the clouds parted for about thirty minutes! I hope you enjoy! Little Blue Truck Almost every day, Jude enjoys the rhythm and rhymes of a particular book about a little blue truck. This truck and a few adorably illustrated farm animals help a mean old dump truck ( HOOOONK ) learn a valuable lesson about making friends. We all need friends and the right kind; that is for certain. He can finish almost any phrase, make all the animal sounds, and turn each page as we snuggle together. Fall Afresh On Me

Fall Decor At Our Tennessee Home I apologize in advance for this crazy and loaded blog post. I tried blogging about one topic and then it just exploded. So, enjoy! Fall Afresh? What does that mean? It happens to be the lyric of one of my favorite songs lately.  If you haven't heard of Bethel Music or Jeremy Riddle, here's a song that just might bless you. I love the lyrics! "Spirit of the living God, come fall afresh on me, come wake me from my sleep. Burn through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." That is my prayer!! I grew up singing hymns mostly so I knew this song came from this hymn , just in case you were unaware!   I've been thinking a lot about seasons, particularly fall since it's my first fall away from home.
