An Extra Large Christmas Update

Hello again! It's been a busy month of shopping, decking the halls, and preparing for the celebration of Jesus! We're preparing a big ol' Christmas music special that details all the Old Testament prophesies that Christ fulfilled, making a lot of holiday sweets for parties, and making sure that each present gets wrapped. We finally put up our tree a few weeks ago and have enjoyed watching as many Christmas movies as possible before the big day. It's our first Christmas in White House, in our house, with a fireplace, with a dog, and with a new church family. It's been fun looking at last December's blogs to see how much has changed!

It's been so amazing to study the Christmas story all over again... did you know that swaddling cloths were usually wrapped around each limb? This means that Jesus looked like mummy when he was wrapped as a baby...!

On another note, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to make these snowflake cookies inspired by this book that Blake's lovely momma gave me. Here's a BIG glimpse of what's been cookin'!
