Our First Humble Abode :)

 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:1-3

Can you believe it? Our first house!? We are so excited to officially own a chunk of land (half an acre to be exact). We moved up here to the Hendersonville area praying about how long we should sign a lease for our old apartment and we felt like God was saying six months...little did we know that seven months later we would be in this amazing home! We didn't even see how it would be possible but the Lord made a way. Isn't he amazing? Even when life isn't full of happiness and blessings HE still deserves the GLORY!

 We had the privilege of working with some amazing people including Craig Sanders and Gayle Halverson who made the whole process so pleasant. We were also blessed by SO MANY of our sweet friends and family who helped us move. The whole situation blows my mind, thank you Lord for continually blessing us WAY more than we deserve. We unpacked each box with such peace knowing that (hopefully) we won't have to move a fifth time in two years. We couldn't stop dancing up and down the hallways saying "woo hoo, thank you Jesus, and can you believe it?"

We can't wait to have family and friends over and share the house with them in fellowship! Don't worry, I've already planned the first baked good to go in the oven. MMM! Thanks for reading!

 although we liked this green, we've already repainted it a different green and the kitchen... hopefully it'll dry darker because we tried going for a terracotta but it looks more like orange.. :( we'll see!

    Caroline!! I LOVE it!! And it sounds like you all have moved just as much as we have (and you aren't even in the military! Ha!). Happy for you-- hopIng to experience this process someday!! Thanks for leading the way ;)

Little Blue Truck Almost every day, Jude enjoys the rhythm and rhymes of a particular book about a little blue truck. This truck and a few adorably illustrated farm animals help a mean old dump truck ( HOOOONK ) learn a valuable lesson about making friends. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.   Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.  The Lord is at hand;   do not be anxious about anything,  but in everything by prayer and supplication  with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.   And  the peace of God,  which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Fall Afresh On Me

Fall Decor At Our Tennessee Home I apologize in advance for this crazy and loaded blog post. I tried blogging about one topic and then it just exploded. So, enjoy! Fall Afresh? What does that mean? It happens to be the lyric of one of my favorite songs lately.  If you haven't heard of Bethel Music or Jeremy Riddle, here's a song that just might bless you. I love the lyrics! "Spirit of the living God, come fall afresh on me, come wake me from my sleep. Burn through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." That is my prayer!! I grew up singing hymns mostly so I knew this song came from this hymn , just in case you were unaware!   I've been thinking a lot about seasons, particularly fall since it's my first fall away from home.
