Birthdays, showers, and more!

Hello again! It's been a lovely and busy week in the Herron household. Last weekend we celebrated Kelsey and Tiffany's birthdays! When it's one of your best friend's birthdays... you go all out! Putt Putt, Outback, Red Velvet, and of course Tea Cake cookies! Oh it was heavenly fellowship! I can not wait for these two to get hitched! 

On another note, I LOVE MY NEW JOB! It has been a much needed answer to prayer. I love all of the staff, they are all so friendly and fun! My boss even approved for me to be able to go on our mission trip to Ohio this summer, I am so excited! Also, tomorrow at church they are going to vote for Blake to become the full time Worship Pastor...another answered prayer! Can you believe it? We're hoping that White House FBC is where the Lord wants us to serve for the next season of our marriage...and if it is then we will be looking for a house very soon! (amazing) 

I'm so tickled that the Lord has allowed me to be able to use all my creative outlets; baking, singing, photography, writing, and lovin' on Blake! After baking two pies, two cakes, one cookie cake, oreo truffles, cookies, cupcakes, and chocolate covered strawberries all in a seven day period; I'm overwhelmed! Thankfully this week is not as busy. Here's a quick review of the madness!

Little Blue Truck Almost every day, Jude enjoys the rhythm and rhymes of a particular book about a little blue truck. This truck and a few adorably illustrated farm animals help a mean old dump truck ( HOOOONK ) learn a valuable lesson about making friends. We all need friends and the right kind; that is for certain. He can finish almost any phrase, make all the animal sounds, and turn each page as we snuggle together. We treasure those moments and hearing his animated "beep, beep, beep!" Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.   Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.  The Lord is at hand;   do not be anxious about anything,  but in everything by prayer and supplication  with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.   And  the peace of God,  which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Fall Afresh On Me

Fall Decor At Our Tennessee Home I apologize in advance for this crazy and loaded blog post. I tried blogging about one topic and then it just exploded. So, enjoy! Fall Afresh? What does that mean? It happens to be the lyric of one of my favorite songs lately.  If you haven't heard of Bethel Music or Jeremy Riddle, here's a song that just might bless you. I love the lyrics! "Spirit of the living God, come fall afresh on me, come wake me from my sleep. Burn through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." That is my prayer!! I grew up singing hymns mostly so I knew this song came from this hymn , just in case you were unaware!   I've been thinking a lot about seasons, particularly fall since it's my first fall away from home.
