Eleven Months With LK

This was a busy month for us and for you little baby girl! You started walking when you were ten and a half months and now you've mastered it! You love to eat anything I put in front of you, you are becoming less interested in those silly bottles, and you want to be right where Jude is at all times. Your hair is growing in, but not quick enough haha! You like to say "mama, dada, yeah, hi, " and a few other little almost-words. You love talking on the phone to just about any object and you love your baby dolls. It's such a treat to see how different you are than Jude. Jude used to love to read but you'd rather just sit and look at the books by yourself. We love your big grin and your sweet hugs and kisses. Being your mom and dad is just the best!

You're constantly teaching me to slow down, to listen, and to give thanks for each day! This time last year, we didn't even know you! I'm just blown away that God gave such a beautiful gift. It's tempting to be depressed since you turn one year old next month but the reality is, you aren't mine to keep. You are the Lord's and we are just borrowing you for a short time. I pray that God gives us grace as we raise you to be a woman who walks in faith. You are loved!

Jude likes to ride our neighbor's bikes :)

Jude had a big month too! Jude started school. Since he needs help with his language and social skills, Jude was provided with a free program at his elementary school from 8-2 every day. We were so excited to see how resilient he was. He loves school so much! His teacher is so amazing and we are so thankful to the Lord for this opportunity. Jude is ready to get out the front door each morning! I couldn't even bring myself to cry because he was so happy to go spend time his friends! I loved getting together all your supplies and packing special lunches for you. This is such a fun chapter of being your mom! You make us so proud, mister Jude!
After his first day of school, we celebrated by getting a free cookie at Publix! Haha!
