Love You Jennifer

Yesterday was not a normal work day. Someone's car was missing from the parking lot, she was missing from our lounge table, our office. Our sweet coworker and dear friend Jennifer has gone to be with Jesus. Please pray for her family and our staff family. We are so fortunate to have known her sweet, genuine, loving heart. She cared about our patients and they cared about her, so many people miss her. She always pointed out the best in others, always encouraging. You never know when the last time you'll see someone will be, we're all still shocked. I know that the Lord is faithful but our hearts are so broken. I keep going over all the conversations we had, all the laughs, all the quick hellos and goodbyes. 

The morning she didn't show to work, before we began our day, our devotional was about rest. The Lord knew that our hearts were about to be troubled, confused, and distraught. Lord, please keep her two precious daughters safe, her husband strong, and her family faithful. You love us, you love Jennifer. You want what's best for your children, help our office to see You. We love you Jennifer!
I am SO grateful to work with these fine individuals!

Little Blue Truck Almost every day, Jude enjoys the rhythm and rhymes of a particular book about a little blue truck. This truck and a few adorably illustrated farm animals help a mean old dump truck ( HOOOONK ) learn a valuable lesson about making friends. We all need friends and the right kind; that is for certain. He can finish almost any phrase, make all the animal sounds, and turn each page as we snuggle together. What to Think

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.   Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.  The Lord is at hand;   do not be anxious about anything,  but in everything by prayer and supplication  with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.   And  the peace of God,  which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Fall Afresh On Me

Fall Decor At Our Tennessee Home I apologize in advance for this crazy and loaded blog post. I tried blogging about one topic and then it just exploded. So, enjoy! Fall Afresh? What does that mean? It happens to be the lyric of one of my favorite songs lately.  If you haven't heard of Bethel Music or Jeremy Riddle, here's a song that just might bless you. I love the lyrics! "Spirit of the living God, come fall afresh on me, come wake me from my sleep. Burn through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." That is my prayer!! I grew up singing hymns mostly so I knew this song came from this hymn , just in case you were unaware!   I've been thinking a lot about seasons, particularly fall since it's my first fall away from home.
