The Stone Door
Blake and I had a great time camping last weekend with some of our new friends from White House,TN. We met so many new friends, camped in tents, made a fire, chopped down trees, used an out house,  made s'mores, ate a wonderful eggs and susage breakfast thanks to Megan, and even went on a little hike!  and headed to good ol' East Tennessee to the Stone Door. Here are some highlights!

    The outhouse picture is actually pretty... I never thought I would say that about a picture of an outhouse! I like the picture of the autumn leaves too!

Little Blue Truck Almost every day, Jude enjoys the rhythm and rhymes of a particular book about a little blue truck. This truck and a few adorably illustrated farm animals help a mean old dump truck ( HOOOONK ) learn a valuable lesson about making friends. Fall Afresh On Me

Fall Decor At Our Tennessee Home I apologize in advance for this crazy and loaded blog post. I tried blogging about one topic and then it just exploded. So, enjoy! Fall Afresh? What does that mean? It happens to be the lyric of one of my favorite songs lately.  If you haven't heard of Bethel Music or Jeremy Riddle, here's a song that just might bless you. I love the lyrics! "Spirit of the living God, come fall afresh on me, come wake me from my sleep. Burn through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." That is my prayer!! I grew up singing hymns mostly so I knew this song came from this hymn , just in case you were unaware!   I've been thinking a lot about seasons, particularly fall since it's my first fall away from home. The Beginning: Leigh Ann and Lonas Overholt

Blake's gracious momma Leigh Ann was the most beautiful bride! Last Thursday Blake and I traveled to good old East Tennessee to see his mom marry the most amazing man; Lonas Overholt. Sometimes things in life happen that we don't understand; some instances simpler than others. We do not always get answers to life's questions but sometimes by the grace of our good Lord we do. Last Thursday we all had the privilege of witnessing the Lord's faithfulness in action. After losing their spouses, these two amazing people found each other; there were countless reasons to celebrate! God is so good, He always keeps His promises even when others do not. Here's my eye on the evening... I apologize to the actual wedding photographer if I got in your way but I was just so thrilled to take pictures of this beautiful evening.
