Our Fall Adventure In Florida

I never thought I'd be so happy to see PUMPKINS! This weekend, the Olson boys, Mistie, Millie, Mark, the Gibbs, Blake, Jude, and I all went to the local Farmer's Market that called itself a pumpkin patch! It was one of those Saturdays that we felt like more of a family. The stroller was packed and our hopes were high that we were about to make some special family memories! Now, if you live in Tennessee and you see a sign that says "pumpkin patch" then you'd expect to see the pumpkins sprouting up from the ground. In Florida, it's a little different. Here's what their patch looked like, above and seen below.
However, I'm not upset! We had such a great time! Their was live music, a water fountain, palm trees, and it smelled like popcorn all around! The farmer's market was swarming with the sweetest little children in spooky costumes. Some were cute, most were spooky! They had all sorts of local vendors selling a variety of "fall" foods like popcorn, corn on the cob, BBQ, and you know, tropical smoothies and popsicles. We laughed so hard! Also, to think that we were at a "fall festival" event and it was 85 degrees. I just can't get over the fact that fall pretty much doesn't exist down here. I'm ok though, we really do love it down here and we are so excited to be a part of this community! I do have to mention that it was only 72 degrees on our morning walk today... yessss!!!

Hay ride! Yay! Aren't they cute?
We tried to match our outfits to get a few family photos. Dad saved the day by pushing the stroller!
The boys on the giant adirondack chair, ha!! Oh, and don't forget to notice the giant pink flamingo!

I just LOVE HIM!
The Gibbs :)

Here's the bazillion pictures of Jude and his cuteness next to all the pumpkins. Can't get enough!

The boys deciding on whether to paint those pumpkins or not...

The BBQ place where we had our FIRST plate of real BBQ in Florida. We've been craving it so bad but there's hardly anywhere to eat BBQ down here. Lord, help us! Tennessee, you don't know how good you have it!
