Nine Months With Jude

Oh, little man. My cup runneth over! Each day I thank the Lord for giving us you! God loves you so much! It's been so much fun getting to know you more each day! Daddy and I just stand back in amazement at all of your new developments! You practice new words all the time like your "I love you" phrase, "kitty cat," and "hello." I try to talk to you all day as we transition from one activity to another. You're no longer interested in that bottle of yours! We have to wrestle you to sit still and eat! You'd much rather pick up food all by yourself! We still feed you some oat cereal, yogurt, and blended veggies sometimes since you still make a mess when you pick up food. You love to pick up Cheerios, carrots, peas, broccoli, beans, olives, and anything that you see on the floor. You crack us up when you crawl from one room to another, stop, and then face plant on the floor. You want to taste everything! You drink out of two big boy cups now and we're so proud! You're still fitting nicely into those size three diapers and in my arms of course! It's amazing to see you walk with your walker around the house and now you pick it up and bang it! You stand for a few seconds all by yourself which is hard to believe, you're so brave! Our routine is a six ounce bottle at 8, 12, 4, and 8 again but I will have to cut one of those out soon since you also eat a breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I love picking you up out of your crib in the mornings as you hold the rail, jump, and give me the biggest grins! We play in the den, play in our big sunroom and look at the birds, iguanas, ducks, lizards, fish, and snakes! We also like to play piano, walk around the house over and over, go to the grocery, go visit friends, go to church, and we always take our three mile walk around the neighborhood every time it's not raining. Daddy plays tennis a lot so he likes to watch us walk by in the neighborhood. Daddy loves you so much and he still treasures his time with you in the mornings before work, and putting you down to bed. You don't usually cry when we put you down, you like to snuggle up with your giraffe blanket and curl up on your tummy. You have developed a little temper here and there when you don't get what you want! It's crazy to see your little personality come out! We love each moment being your mom and dad! It's bittersweet watching you grown with family so far away but we had some special visitors! Here are some pictures mommy and daddy took of you when you were nine months old!

We took you to see your first pediatrician in Florida, Dr. Frontera! She's really nice! She said that you weigh 20.6lbs and are 29 1/2 inches! You're in the 50th percentile for weight which we expected because you've always been slender... and the 90th for height! We're so proud!

You LOVE birds and were so excited to meet this guy at the beach! We were at Key Biscayne and I took these of you!

we saw FIVE raccoons that day at the beach!

cute little beach bum ready to go home and take a bath!

the duck family that we feed cheerios to in the morning sometimes

your favorite toy!

You had some special visitors before you turned nine months! Granna came all the way from Tennessee to spend Sunday through Thursday with you! We had so much fun! You loved swinging with her, playing on the beach with her, and singing songs at the piano with her!

You also had a very special visit from Grandaddy from Tennessee too! He came in on a Sunday through Wednesday too and had so much fun playing with you! You love playing with the plastic Coke bottle that he left here! Sweet boy!
