Ordination!

Image
Even though it's been a few weeks since it was official, I thought I'd still share the news! Blake and Dwayne are officially ordained ministers! Basically, ordination is where a body of believers decides to "ordain" or "send out" a minster who has been called by God. The dictionary says, " ordination  is the process by which individuals are  consecrated , that is, set apart as  clergy  to perform various religious rites and ceremonies."   It's just amazing to see how the Lord has prepared Blake for this moment! I pray that the Lord will continue to receive the glory through whatever work He has in store for us. It blows my mind to think that last year we were sitting in Murfreesboro, TN thinking, "what is God doing?" and here we are in White House, TN! We are so thankful for the amazing family of believers at our church to share life with. Here are a few pictures of the celebration! We've already started joking, "Brother...

The Greers: Part One

Image
Hello friends! This weekend two of our best friends joined together in holy matrimony! Justin and Rebecca are two beautiful people who love God with all of their heart, soul, strength, and mind. We are so grateful for such amazing friends. Although I was not their photographer for the wedding, I managed to get a couple hundred shots while attending to my duties as an honorary bridesmaid. I checked with our talented friend John Dunahoo, the actual photographer, and he said it was ok for me to but in. Here are a few of my favorite shots! (every picture is my favorite but I had to pick and handful) The rest will be on Facebook very soon. I wish them the most peace, happiness, joy, and love! We're so happy for you guys!

Sweet Mallory

If you didn't know already, we have the cutest niece named Mallory! Here's a few recent shots of her unsurpassed cuteness! We love Mallaroo! Even though we're not ready to have children just yet, it's been fun practicing with our nephews and niece. I ran across this article and I thought it had some really good points about being a Christ-like parent. Let's just say, it's fun to investigate about future possibilities.  She loves listening to Blake play and sing! He was singing, "sing to me please...Mallory." Little does he know, Mal knows "please" in sign language so she was signing the song with him! SO SWEET!
